Description
As an employee is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the City Council. Highly responsible administrative work as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City in directing and coordinating all phases of the City of FLOYDADA’s municipal government. Work involves the management and supervision of activities related to the City in accordance with the policies adopted by the City Council and applicable State laws and/or municipal ordinances. The person in this position is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all duties and authority commensurate with assigned responsibilities. During occasions of local emergencies, this position shall be required to perform emergency tasks which may result in extended work hours as well as extended periods of time away from personal obligations. Must reside within the City Limits of Floydada.
Requirements
Knowledge of electricity, operation of a municipal electric company, and purchasing requirements of electricity.
Should be an active member with Texas Municipal League (TML), and Texas City Managers Association (TCMA). Requires attainment of a valid Texas driver license, training and certification as investment officer.
