The purpose of this position is to supervise, lead, and direct a small crew in the Public Works - Streets division by performing essentially more complex work as those directed, including overseeing work quality, training, instructing and scheduling work. Depending on the assignment may provides emergency response to Public Works issues after work hours which may include but is not limited to all street problems, potholes, trees down, signals, signs, water and sewer issues.

The purpose of this position is to perform manual labor within assigned division. Depending on area of assignment may be responsible for maintenance and repair of infrastructures, drainage systems, water and wastewater systems, and/or construction projects. Depending on the assignment may provide emergency response to all Public Works issues after hours which may include but is not limited to trees down, water and sewer issues.

The purpose of this position is to operate and supervise the use of heavy equipment, with the occasional use of light or medium equipment, used to excavate, load, transfer, or move dirt, gravel, or other materials in the maintenance or construction of parks, streets, city infrastructure, and other public properties.
