Company Overview

The City of Haslet, Texas is strategically located along I-35W, US 287, and Alliance Airport approximately fifteen miles north of downtown Fort Worth. Incorporated in 1961, Haslet is home to approximately 4,750 residents that are drawn to our inviting community with an award-winning education system and family-friendly activities. Our award winning Public Library recently won the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association Achievement of Excellence Award for 2024 and finished first in the Library Journal Five-Star Award. The Haslet Public Library brings together people of all ages offering programs for children and adults. Haslet
Community Park is located next to the Haslet Public Library, featuring a covered pavilion, play area, and picnic tables. The park also has an 18-hole disc golf course, a sand volleyball court, basketball court, and walking paths. The City is home to a variety of businesses ranging from large industry, such as Amazon Fulfillment Center, GE Manufacturing, and Williamson Dickies, to home-based businesses.

The City of Haslet is a Type A General Law municipality with a Mayor-Council form of government. The governing body is elected to
staggered, two-year terms. The City provides a full range
of services including Water and Wastewater, Parks, Municipal Court, Public Library, Fire Services, Building Services, Utility Billing, and Administrative Services.
