The patrol position for the Sandy Oaks Police Department consists of maintaining the safety and security of the people who live here, those who work here, and those who may just be passing through. We are looking for men or women who are self-driven and eager to make a difference in the community. Whether it be patrolling the neighborhoods, keeping the streets safer, or protecting citizens from on-line predators, your services will be appreciated in this town.

The purpose of this position is to identify violations of state and local laws and codes, and to maintain and enhance property values. This is accomplished by responding to violations; enforcing ordinances, removing illegal signage, interpreting ordinances, resolving disputes, maintaining records, and researching property information. Other duties include assisting the public, reading and interpreting maps, and scheduling inspections.
