The Town of Sunnyvale is looking for an Animal Control Officer to add to our team of dedicated professionals focused on responsive, effective, and courteous animal care and control assistance for our residents.

Hiring Pay Range: $19.15 - $23.00 hourly

Full Pay Range: $19.15 - $25.90 hourly

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year of professional experience in animal control or animal handling
• Must obtain Basic Animal Control Officer and Euthanasia certifications within six (6) months of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of professional experience in animal control or animal handling
• Basic Animal Control Officer and Euthanasia certifications
