- Assistant Finance Director
Description
The City of Lockhart is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Finance Director. This position supports the Finance Director in managing the City’s financial operations, including the accounting, finance, budget, investment, payroll functions, and utility billing. This position maintains department related accounting systems and oversees work of departmental personnel, year-end processes, and annual audits. Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in financial administration and accounting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience and CPA and/or CGFO designation preferred. Salary DOQ. City benefits include: Vacation/Sick leave, 13 Holidays, employee health insurance, and a 20-year full retirement plan.
