Building Inspector
$25.24 - $32.45 Per Hour
Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Building Inspector is responsible for inspecting commercial and residential construction projects and ensuring compliance with approved plans, building and safety codes, zoning regulations, and applicable City, state, and federal requirements. This position reviews construction documents, performs multi-trade field inspections, and verifies that work meets established quality and safety standards. The Building Inspector works closely with developers, contractors, and other City departments to support consistent, compliant, and safe construction throughout the community.
