About the Job:
The City of Lacy Lakeview is now hiring certified Texas Peace Officers to join our patrol team. If you’re ready to serve a close-knit community with professionalism, integrity, and pride, we want to hear from you!

This hiring round is open only to candidates who are already TCOLE-certified. Please do not apply unless you currently hold a valid Texas Peace Officer License.

 
Key Responsibilities:

Patrol the city to deter and respond to criminal activity
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
Enforce local, state, and federal laws and ordinances
Conduct investigations and complete thorough reports
Serve warrants, make arrests, and testify in court
Maintain public safety and foster positive community relationships
 
Minimum Requirements:

Current Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification
Valid Texas driver license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass all required background checks, drug screening, and physical assessments
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior patrol or law enforcement experience
First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (can be provided after hire)
