Description

Duties include assigning, scheduling, and supervising work of part-time maintenance staff; scheduling and overseeing work provided by approved external vendors and contractors; performing carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing work and other building maintenance repairs; coordinating the building maintenance budget; assisting with room, exhibit and equipment set-up and breakdown; and cleaning and maintaining exterior fountains, pools and sculptures as needed. 

PAY GRADE GG17 / FULL PAY RANGE $25.07 - $35.35 PER HOUR

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent plus some related college or vocational training and two years of mechanical and maintenance experience demonstrating a broad variety of repair capabilities required. Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Class C Texas driver’s license. Trade license preferred. Hours will vary and must include the ability to respond to after-hours service calls concerning building maintenance emergencies. A résumé must be submitted with application.
