Description

Our Public Services team is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide manual labor following basic routines directed by a supervisor during construction repair and maintenance of city infrastructure and facilities and to also be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of maintenance equipment.

Requirements

Acceptable experience and training:

1. High school graduate/possession of GED or equivalent required.
2. At least one (1) year of street maintenance experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Certificates and licenses required:

1. Valid Texas motor vehicle CDL operator’s license preferred.
2. Driving record acceptable to the City.
