Job Summary
| The Streets Maintenance Worker performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks as a member of a street maintenance and repair crew, under the general direction of the Public Works Streets and Drainage Supervisor. This individual safely performs manual labor tasks and operates tools and equipment to build, repair and maintain municipal streets infrastructure. |

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required

Entry level position, previous experience as a laborer or in construction is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided.

Ability to safely operate tools and equipment listed above
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES
-
Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License with clear driving record

NIMS Training obtained within 3 months of hire
-
Ability to obtain Class B Commercial Driver’s permit within 6 months, and Class B Commercial Driver’s License within 1 year of hire
