- Part Time Human Resources Records Clerk
Description
The City of Azle seeks qualified applicants for the position of Part Time Human Resources Records Clerk.
This position allows for some flexibility in weekly scheduling, with a maximum of 16 hours per week between the hours of 8A-5P Monday through Friday.

Summary of Classification
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, performs record-keeping, clerical and project-based tasks to assist with the efficiency of the Human Resources Department.
Essential Functions:
Maintains and audits files for current and former personnel, including scanning paper records into Laserfiche;
Responds to Public Information requests related to current employees in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act;
Archives paper files with the City Secretary in accordance with State of Texas records retention laws;
Provides other clerical and administrative assistance as needed;
Maintains high degree of confidentiality
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
One to three years of data entry and electronic file maintenance experience using Laserfiche
Public sector/municipal records management experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices
Knowledge of state and local laws pertaining to records retention and retrieval, electronic document imaging and records management
Proficient skills to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain proficiency and knowledge of current and/or new regulations/legislation within areas of responsibility
Ability to stoop, stand, bend, and sit repetitively for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 25lbs
