Starting salary $70,000 year. The City of Reno is now accepting applications for Police Officer. Reno is a community located near Eagle Mountain Lake and between the smaller City of Springtown to the west, and the larger City Azle to the east. The current population of Reno is estimated to be over 6000 residents and rapidly growing. If s elected, the agency will provide a competitive salary and all necessary equipment,

To apply, you must hold an active Texas Peace Officer license or be certifiable  within the State of Texas. All applicants should be prepared to be assigned to work both both day shifts and night shifts. It is also understood that part-time police officers have additional priorities outside of the police department, all of which will of course be taken into consideration when, if selected and commissioned by the agency.

This position would mainly be assigned to work Saturday or Sunday (or both) subject to the availability of the newly hired motorcycle officer.
