Job Description
Obtaining and serving arrest and search warrants.
Testifying in court
Investigating narcotic activity
Recovering and returning stolen property to the rightful owner
Conducting forensic examination of crime scenes
Submitting evidence to the crime lab
Preparing and filing prosecution reports with the Denton County District Attorney's Office.
Collecting and submitting reports on crime statistics.
Maintaining records and processing public information requests
Assisting other law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
TCOLE Intermediate Peace Officer Proficiency Certificate
Three years of police investigative experience
