The Programs Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality outdoor and nature-based programming for the Recreation Division, with a primary focus on the Bob Jones Nature Center. Programming is accomplished through the planning, promotion, implementation, and day-to-day coordination of programs that serve residents of all ages. The Programs Coordinator works closely with citizens, volunteers, instructors, City staff, and community partners to ensure programs are well-organized, accessible, and aligned with long-term recreational and educational goals. Additional responsibilities include performing administrative and technical tasks, managing program expenditures, assisting with long-range program planning, and supporting the overall operations of the Recreation Division. The position may also supervise part-time and seasonal staff in the absence of the Programs Supervisor and provide cross-functional support as needed.

Requirements
What You Bring To Us:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Up to two (2) years of relevant experience.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross CPR Certification.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross First Aid and AED Certification.
Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) preferred.
Ability to remain flexible with your schedule. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are required for special events/programs and staff training.
