BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This is a non-supervisory position that involves a combination of duties which include servicing customers and monitoring daily operations of the city’s aquatic facility (Splash Station). Position involves heavy customer service and contact with the public. No minimum number of hours are guaranteed.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with the public and other staff
- Skills in office work, computer/typing skills, clerical experience, sufficient math skills to handle making change and reconciling cash receipts preferred.
- Telephone and customer service skills required
- Must be bondable
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent; OR
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED
Required to have a Texas Food Handler Certification- Must provide certification Required to have a CPR/AED/First Aid certification, preferred
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND SAFETY HAZARDS
Primarily in an outdoor environment with the ability to operate indoor/outdoor when needed. May be exposed to extreme heat and cold during summer and winter months.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Standard office equipment including multi-line telephone, computer, fax machine, copier, scanner, printer, etc.
Must be able to use equipment in concession
