As the Senior Civil Engineer, you will: be responsible for designing and managing projects in the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) throughout the entire life of the project. During the construction phase of a project, the Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. The Senior Civil Engineer is also responsible for reviewing and permitting private development projects to be built in the City of Celina. Duties as project reviewer of civil plans are comprehensive, including responsibilities for such tasks as reviewing prepared design documents and reports for utilities main line extensions, street improvements, and storm drainage plans.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree related to civil engineering, engineering technology, or other engineering field, and a minimum of five years engineering experience in the Civil Engineering Field, one year of which is in a lead or supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a Texas Registered Professional Engineer License.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
- Must possess valid class C driver’s license.
