Description
Summary: Responsible for the overall billing and collection of payments for Utility accounts.
Job duties:
Post Payments
Take Payments at front window, drive thru and over the phone.
Take New Account Applications and Meter Deposits
Enter New Accounts into Billing System, TRRA System, and Blackboard connect.
Post Meter Deposits
Final Accounts-as needed
Water Complaints
Keep Log of Account Adjustments
Run checks through bank system
Make any Cash deposit
Post to GL for credit cards and payments.
Utility Extension request
Disconnect and turn on water accounts.
Assist Utility Workers with ordering of supplies, parts etc.
Match invoices with Purchase Orders for payments.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be proficient in written and verbal communication.
Must be knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Outlook.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when requested.
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must pass a background check.
