Compensation
$15 to $20 per hour
Under general supervision, the utility worker position provides support for the maintenance and repair of water and wastewater collection and distribution systems. Utility worker will train and /or assist other staff members, ensures adequate equipment and supplies are available for completing assignments. The utility worker will perform parks maintenance as needed, serve as meter reader for water services, and operate any equipment to include heavy equipment as needed to complete a specific job task.
Able to perform difficult labor to include lifting of heavy equipment and/or materials; also be able to bend, stoop, and twist to be able to complete job task
Schedule:
8 hour shift
On call
Weekends as needed
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
Water Class D - preferred Wastewater Class D - preferred (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
