Description
The City of Robinson is seeking a full time Water Plant Operator to maintain and operate the system in a safe, effective, and efficient manner; requires technical expertise; operating surface water treatment systems which requires making process control changes as necessary and corrective maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment. Requirements
1. Minimum of High school graduate, possession of GED or equivalent required.
2. One year progressively responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of surface water systems is required.
Certificates and licenses required:
3. Appropriate Texas driver’s license or available alternate means of transportation is required.
4. Grade D surface water license, or the ability to obtain Class D license after required courses are completed.
5. A water laboratory course is required for technicians performing the chlorine dioxide tests for the CT calculations.
