As the Youth Services Supervisor, you will: provide leadership for the Celina Public Library’s youth services operations, including staff supervision, programming, and collection development. This position hires, trains, evaluates, and disciplines staff; serves on the Library Management Team; chairs library committees; develops and administers policies and procedures; manages vendor relationships; handles escalated customer concerns; and assists with library budget planning. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to innovative library services.

The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week.

What You’ll Bring
- Master’s degree in library science (MLS) from an American Library Association-accredited university.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible full-time experience in Youth Services in a public library setting, with two years of supervisory experience preferred. In exceptional instances, specialized education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for part or all of the required elements.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
- Must possess valid class C driver’s license.
