The City of Cisco, Texas, has a population of 3851. We are located forty-five (45) miles East of Abilene on Interstate 20. Cisco is very much "on the grow". New businesses are flooding the downtown area and new, affordable housing is being built, as well as upper-end, subdivision housing. The City of Cisco is building a new water treatment plant, new wastewater treatment plant and will be upgrading over 5 miles of city street over the next two years.
