The City of Presidio is a General Type "A" Municipality which consists of a Mayor and five City Council members.
The City of Presidio is a border town to our sister city of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. We are the entryway to the beautiful Rio Grande river drive to Big Bend National Park. The City of Presidio rests within Presidio County with a population of 4,019.

Company History
City of Presidio was known as "La Junta de los Rios" which mean the Joining of the Rivers. We have two rivers that join one from Mexico, el Rio Conchos, and one from Texas el Rio Grande. City of Presidio was established as "La Junta de los Rios" in 1683.
