"Established on January 1, 1943, Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) is a municipally owned electric utility serving Wilson and Karnes counties. Jointly owned by the Cities of Stockdale, Poth, and Floresville, the utility operates under the governance of a Board of Trustees, comprising representatives from the owner cities and advisory trustees from Falls City and La Vernia. FELPS, committed to community service, reinvests any excess revenue into system enhancements and local initiatives, operating as a not-for-profit entity.
