Gulf Coast Water Authority (GCWA) provides water for industry, agriculture, and municipalities in Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Galveston County. This includes more than 185,000 customers in Galveston County alone. GCWA has 380,000 acre-feet of water rights on the lower Brazos River and delivers water to its customers through some 400 miles of canals stretching across Fort Bend, Brazoria, and Galveston counties. Beyond providing water to over 16,000 acres of rice crops, GCWA's largest industrial customers include Marathon, DOW, Valero, and INEOS and our largest municipalities include the cities of Sugar Land, League City, Galveston, and Texas City.

Benefits

? HEALTH & DENTAL & VISION: Insurance is offered to all eligible employees who work 30 hours or more per week and their eligible dependents. Health coverage is provided through United Healthcare with access to a PPO Gold, PPO Silver and an HSA plans. GCWA pays 100% towards the health insurance premiums towards all employees (including dental and vision) for the PPO Silver and the HSA plan.

? RETIREMENT:
o Texas County and District Retirement: Employee contribution is 7%. GCWA matches 1.5 to 1 with 5 year vesting.

o 401k Plan: GCWA contributes 1 to 1 up to 4% with a 3 year vesting. Employees are allowed to contribute to this optional program at a maximum set annually by the IRS.

? DISABILITY
o Long Term Disability: Paid by GCWA. Benefit is 60% of covered monthly pre-disability pay.

? LIFE INSURANCE and AD&D: GCWA provides $50,000 of life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment coverage for all employees.
o VOLUNTARY LIFE and AD&D: Optional, paid by employee. Employee can elect additional life insurance for themselves and dependents.

? HOLIDAYS: 10 Holidays per calendar year.
