The City of Richwood, Texas Police Department is a 10 person organization which provides quality policing to a predominantly residential community with a significant business presence along our major corridors of SH 288B and FM 2004.
The department is passionate about embracing the community policing mindset. We take our role of social harm prevention seriously.
Company History
The Richwood Police Department was established in the year 1957. As the population has increased so has the number of police officers employed. With current staffing at ten (10) officers, the organization focuses on keeping two (2) officers on duty at all times within its 4.75 square miles of jurisdiction.
