Animal Control Officer
$18.03 - $24.04 Per Hour
Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Animal Control Officer enforces animal control ordinances, state laws, investigates animal complaints, and educates the public on responsible pet ownership. This position also protects the public health and safety as well as the welfare of animals in the City of Joshua. This position promotes best practices in animal sheltering by maintaining a clean, safe, and humane environment at the City of Joshua’s Animal Shelter.
