Schedule: Full-time | On-call availability required (24-hour call)

Are you hands-on, dependable, and looking for a solid job with room to grow? The City of Odessa is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician to help keep our public buildings clean, safe, and in good working condition.

In this role, you'll perform general maintenance tasks like fixing small repairs, replacing parts, cleaning up graffiti, and helping with basic upkeep of city buildings and grounds. You’ll also assist with occasional custodial duties and learn to handle more advanced maintenance and repair tasks over time. Safety is important to us, so you’ll be expected to follow safety rules and report any hazards or equipment problems to your supervisor.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of general labor, maintenance, or construction experience
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and a cell phone for City use.
Must pass an FBI fingerprint background check and meet CJIS standards. Safety shoes provided and required.
