Description

The City of Spur is seeking (1) employee to take on a part-time position as City Code Compliance. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Duties will include, but are not limited to, identification of properties, investigations, initiation of a corrective action for violations of the City’s municipal property ordinances, conduct field investigations, scheduling and performing follow-up functions. Maintaining accurate documentation and case files on all investigations, inspections on enforcement actions and other job-related activities. Preparing evidence in support of legal actions taken by the City. Attending council meetings and serve as a resource to other City departments, interpret and explain municipal codes and ordinances to members of the public, may assist in the development of forms and processes utilized to address various issues and able to handle yourself professionally in all situations.  Please pick up an application at City Hall, 402 Burlington, Spur, TX.  Applications will be considered until the position is filled.  For additional information call City Hall, (806)271-3316.
