Economic Development Coordinator (Part-Time)

The City of Sour Lake is seeking a motivated and community-focused professional to serve as its Part-Time Economic Development Coordinator, supporting the Sour Lake Economic Development Corporation (SLED).

This position serves as a primary point of contact for local businesses, prospective employers, regional partners, and the public. Responsibilities include business retention and recruitment, administration of SLED programs, marketing and community outreach, grant research, project coordination, and support for the SLED Board.

The position is approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including occasional evening meetings. Compensation is $25.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The position will remain open until filled.
