Parks Maintenance Supervisor 
City of Odessa – Parks & Recreation Department 

The City of Odessa is seeking a dedicated and experiencedParks Maintenance Supervisorto lead daily operations within our Parks & Recreation Department. 
This leadership role is responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance crews to ensure our parks, recreation centers, playgrounds, and municipal facilities remain safe, clean, and welcoming for the community.

What You’ll Do: 
Supervise crews 
Creates and assigns work orders 
Reviews, approves, and summarizes daily activity reports 
Inspects work projects and facilities 
Performs administrative activities including scheduling, payroll reporting, and work activity reports  
Operate trucks and heavy equipment 
Utilizes proper safety precautions in all work performed 
Supervises assigned staff; prioritizes and assigns tasks and projects 
 
What You Bring: 
High school diploma or GED 
Five years of Park maintenance experience preferred 
A Texas State Commercial Driver’s License Class B isrequiredor ability to obtain within 180 days of employment 
Pesticide Applicator license isrequiredwithin one (1) year of employment 
Obtain Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification within one (1)yearsof employment
