- Patrol Officer
Description
Performs basic law enforcement duties, tasks are service, protection oriented, and includes collecting and dispatching information, arbitration disputes, providing assistance, protecting and recovering property, preventing crime, investigating and providing other public protection services. Patrol Officers enforce state law and city ordinances, and work under the supervision of the Chief of Police.
Requirements
Be able to work in a small farming community, with a low crime rate and minimal calls for service, Community involvement is a must as in a small community you are the person everyone turns to. With a Chief of Police with 41 years if experience, this is a great starting place or an even better ending place for a career. Must be at least a licensed basic Texas Peace Officer, be able to pass the state required background investigation, and have a clean driving record.
