Description

Part-Time Seasonal Public Works Assistant $15.00/hour (10-weeks approx.)

Assists with maintenance of city public areas, including, but not limited to streets, right-of-way, and city facilities.

Requirements

*Must have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

*Valid Class C Texas driver’s license required.

*Employees must be able to read, write, and communicate with the public, citizens, merchants, officials,

  and personnel in a well and respectful manner.

*Responsible, trustworthy individual to work part-time (20 hours a week, for 10 weeks).

*Employees must be able to operate maintenance equipment and to use all the tools necessary to perform the

  essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

*Employees must be able to safely operate and back a vehicle with a trailer in tow.

*Employees must be able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency and to exercise good judgment in

  responding to emergencies.
