Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Public Works Director, the incumbent serves as working Crew Leader responsible for planning, scheduling, supervising, and directing the work activities of the Public Works, Street and Wastewater Departments, and preforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as directed by the Public Works Director.

Requirements
Education/Experience/Certificates/Licenses/Eligibility:
- A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
- Must pass a criminal background check, driver’s record check, drug screen and provide character references. Must have five (5) years of previous experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance and street maintenance (concrete and asphalt) repair.
- Must possess a Class “II” Collections System Certification issued by the TCEQ.
- Prefer a Non-Commercial Applicators License for weed control issued by the Texas Structural Pest Control Board OR may be required to obtain.
- Must have working familiarity with Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices and all equipment and machinery related to streets and wastewater maintenance.
- Must have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
- May be required to obtain a Texas Class A driver’s license as it becomes necessary.
- Must pass a criminal history background check, driving record check and submit to drug screening test.
