Are you a detailoriented accounting professional who enjoys solving complex financial challenges and supporting meaningful community work? We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who brings strong technical expertise, curiosity, and a commitment to accuracy. In this role, you’ll help maintain the City’s financial integrity, support major projects, and provide insights that guide important decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain grant and project accounting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support and help prepare the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)
- Review and improve accounting systems to help departments make datadriven decisions
- Monitor bond project reporting and ensure compliance with policies and GAAP

Requirements
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of accounting/finance experience
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications
- Knowledge of fund accounting, financial analysis, and government regulations

- Salary: $70,428.80 - $91,551.20
