Description
Under general supervision of the Fleet & Facilities Superintendent and/or Designee, the Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of the assigned City Facilities. Custodial workers will be assigned to City Facilities, including, but not limited to; Library, Police Station, Fire Station, City Hall, Recreation Center, Parks Building, Senior/Community Center, Visitor Center and Museum, and other facilities as designated. Duties will include trash disposal, cleaning and disinfecting of the facility features including windows, bathrooms, kitchen equipment, outdoor areas, weight and exercise rooms and equipment, and all other areas or objects assigned and set-up and/or breakdown of any rented or utilized equipment for events.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment screening, background check and employment eligibility verification.
